In step 4, you identified which of your employees will be eligible to participate in your National DPP lifestyle change program offering. The next step is to develop a plan for promoting the availability of the program and encouraging eligible employees to take advantage of this covered benefit.
Many of your employees may not know that they’re eligible for this program—or even that they have prediabetes or are at high risk for type 2 diabetes. Part of your role is to help raise awareness of prediabetes among your employees and make sure they know there are benefits available.
